This month, Boxer will once again explode into the hardcore scene with their new release, "The Hurt Process." These self-proclaimed Kings of East Coast Emo-core know how to kick it hard. They were nice enough to send me a three song sampler from the album, and I borrowed "The Bristol Sessions" from a friend. After extensive listening and possible brain dmage fromm head banging so hard, I've come to a conclusion: Boxer deserves everything good that comes to them.

With Boxer it's all about the music. Working hard, bringing you neat kids your emo-core served straight-up. I haven't the foggiest idea where their inspiration comes from, but be glad it's there. Get used to 'em, they're here to stay and they have got some serious kick-butt, in-your-face attitude. It's extremly refreshing to know there are bands like Boxer to keep the true spirit alive. Keep your eyes, ears, and minds open, and look for Boxer in your town.
